Does my browser need to be configured to use the site?
Yes. You will need to accept cookies, download Flash Plug-ins and enable javascript. Refer to your browser's help for instructions on how to do this.
Why are all the buttons and text out of alignment?
Our website will not display correctly if you have overwritten your browser's default settings to use your own stylesheet and display properties. Please refer to you browser's help page on how to reset to default browser settings.
Do I need any special hardware installed on my PC?
No. You do not need any special hardware.
I have a MAC. Can I still use this service?
Yes. You can use this service with a MAC as long as you are using Google Chrome 5.0 or higher, Firefox 3.0 or higher, Safari 5.0 or higher.
Are there any browser viewing restrictions?
The website has been designed for the following browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Google Chrome 5.0 or higher, Firefox 3.0 or higher, Safari 5.0 or higher. We recommend that you use a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. However lower screen resolutions will work. Your browser must also support Macromedia Flash Player 10 (or higher).
What is the relationship between artwrap and Starlight Children's Foundation Australia?
artwrap hosts the Starcards site for Starlight. The corporate cards and services you purchase are provided by Starlight, so your choice directly helps the most vulnerable in our society.
Uploading an image to use in your card
I don't have a digital image, only normal artwork. Can I still use it to make my greeting cards?
Yes, There are two options for you:
1. If you have a scanner, or have access to one, you can scan the image, save the image as a JPEG file and use this image file to create your personalised cards online.
2. Alternatively, use the contact details at the top of this page to request your free copy of the Starlight 2010 Brochure. Complete the order form in the Brochure and send it to the address given, remembering to enclose a disk with your artwork.
What image file types can I use with Starcards?
Personalised Cards uses JPEG images with the RGB colour scheme. This is the standard format for most digital cameras. If you are having trouble seeing your image please use an image editor and save your file as JPEG, using the RGB colour scheme.
To upload an image, double-click on an image box. In the popup-window that appears, locate the file you wish to use on your computer, and then click 'Upload'.
Once an image box contains an image, you can manipulate it by zooming in and out, rotating it and changing its position on the page.
My image file is bigger than 4MB. What do I do?
You can use your PC and image/picture editing software such as Microsoft Photo Editor to convert and save the image as a JPEG file type with reduced resolution (and RGB colour scheme). If your image is bigger than 4MB it is most likely a high resolution photo intended for printing in a large format photo.
My image file is a thumbnail. Is this okay to use?
We do not recommend that you use images where the resolution is very small. This will result in very grainy output when printed.
Designing your card is quick and easy. Depending on the card you’ve chosen, you can edit text and upload images from your computer.

How much is shipping and handling fee?
We charge a standard fee of AUD$6.00 (incl GST) for shipping and handling. This will be added to the total amount before you confirm your purchase.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Orders are usually shipped within 3-5 working days. Shipping is via Australia Post, please allow a further 2-5 business days for delivery within Australia.

What is the credit card verification number?
The credit card verification number is a three or four digit number printed on your credit card, which is different to the credit card number.
Which credit cards does Starcards accept?
You can use any Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners card through this service.
I don't have a credit card (or I prefer not to use my credit card online). Are there other payment options?

How do I track my order?
An on-line tracking system is available to you via a link on the home page; you will need to input your email address and order number to view your order status.
Can I cancel my order?
If the order has not been sent to print, you may be able to cancel the order by emailing help@starcards.com.au with your order ID and email address.
Can I change my delivery address?
If the order has not been shipped, you may change the delivery address by contacting us.
How can I change the design once I have submitted my order?
You cannot change the design or content once you have submitted your order. If the order has not been sent to print, you may be able to cancel the order by contacting us with your order ID and email address.
